Meeting Objective

This meeting is a forum for communicating progress and for identifying opportunities to create synergy among the constituent organizations that have jurisdiction over transportation in our region. This meeting is intended to continue a process of information exchange and focus on short- and long-term solutions to transportation issues in the North Mecklenburg & Lake Norman Region.

Overview of the MUMPO's role and responsibilities
Discuss projects "next in line" for inclusion on TIP (funded and unfunded)
Review relevant projects and discussion of issues vis-a-vis North Meck
NOTE: All MUMPO members present are encouraged to contribute to the dialog

10:15 - 10:30 Metropolitan Transit Committee (MTC) (Mayor Knox - MTC Member)

Overview of the MTC's role and responsibilities and voting composition
Review information regarding the transit plan and indicate high-level plans for next steps on bus and rail expansion relevant to North Mec
