With the close
of the 2005-2006 session, Tillis begins to reach out to
General Assembly members and constituents to prepare for
the upcoming session in the General Assembly.
While Rhodes
voted AGAINST overwhelming majority votes in
favor of children and educators, Thom Tillis was
working to improve safety and discipline and
teacher morale.
A race fought
over road construction issues ended up with a
steamroller result Tuesday as challenger Thom
Tillis flattened incumbent John Rhodes in the
Republican primary in House District 98.
No matter whom
Republican and unaffiliated voters choose in the
May 2 primary, they will be getting a self-made
man who has made a habit of public service.
